The Science Behind It
FaceInsight uses MediaPipe Face Mesh — a state-of-the-art facial landmark detection system developed by Google's research team. It detects 468 precise points on your face in real-time, directly in your browser.
From these landmarks, we calculate over 30 different measurements including facial thirds, golden ratio proportions, symmetry indices, jaw angles, canthal tilt, and more. These metrics are grounded in decades of research in facial aesthetics and plastic surgery.
Our AI then translates these numbers into clear, conversational insights — no medical jargon, no confusing charts. Just straightforward information about your face and practical suggestions for enhancement.
